I am Pastor Zhia Henderson, the Assistant Pastor of the Kingdom Agenda Worship Center. This ministry journey started for me as a Worship/Praise team member, a Youth Assistant, a Youth Minister, and now an Assistant Pastor/Worship Pastor. I have chosen to dedicate my life to serving God in Ministry through teaching, building, and giving my all to the perfecting work of the church. Being a member of The Kingdom Agenda Ministries since I was 11 years old has impacted my life in so many ways. The greatest leaders are servants first, as Christ Himself did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). It is a blessing to be under an uncompromising, God-fearing, and compassionate leader who has truly poured into my life and helped me to walk into my destiny. I am a living witness that your destiny is tied up in your obedience to God’s will for your life, and to your leader that watches over your soul.
Only God knows the course of your life and when you allow Him to take control, He will take you to places in Him that you would’ve never imagined. I have worked in multiple capacities in this Ministry and now to be planted as the Assistant Pastor is truly overwhelming and humbling to know that the Lord chose me. He chose someone who has dealt with verbal abuse, depression, and self-harm. He chose someone who has survived every attempt to take her life. He saved me from self-destruction and has given me a zeal and fire for His Kingdom that pushes me to tell everyone I know about the saving Power of JESUS CHRIST, the Messiah. He is the Way, Truth, and the Life and has all power to heal, set free, and deliver.
I thank God for my mother who carried me in ministry. Every place she went she taught me as a youth to serve and to fear the Lord. The Word of God says that “many are called, but few are chosen” and this opportunity is truly humbling. It is indeed a blessing to serve a God who holds my destiny in His hands. I will never forget the words of my Prophetess and Spiritual Mother, who made me aware of the calling on my life. Since then, I have served the Lord and will continue to serve in this capacity as Assistant Pastor. My goal is to equip, build, train, and strengthen the leadership of the Kingdom Agenda and the Body of Christ that God will receive ALL of the Glory. My agenda is truly the Kingdom’s Agenda. SELAH.
“And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).”
